President Obama Signs an iPad

At a rally on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle yesterday, President Obama became the first president to put his John Handcock on an iPad. Sylvester Cann (that's him in the Obama tee and holding the iPad) tells TechCrunch, the president "looked slightly surprised, but proceeded to use his finger to scribble on the iPad using the Adobe Ideas app." As someone on that site quipped, it would've been hilarious if the president unwittingly signed the iPad with a Sharpie -- not to mention, it would increase the device's eventual re-sale valuable. We can only imagine the marketing and PR geniuses at Apple are beside themselves with glee.
