Kids are so damn ungrateful, nowadays. A 27-year-old man from Naperville, Ill. is facing attempted murder charges after he stabbed his mother with a 6-inch butcher knife after she offered to make him a sandwich. According to police, Alexander Georg's mother brought him home Thursday from a behavioral health facility, where he had been a patient since July 31. Obviously he wanted to go back. After the two arrived home, Alexander's 52-year-old mother mother offered to make him a sandwich. He then grabbed a knife and began chasing her around the kitchen. She fled outside, but Alexander caught her in the driveway, pinned her to the ground and began stabbing her repeatedly. The woman's screams alerted neighbors, who called police. When they arrived, Alexander was standing in the driveway near the blood-soaked blade of a butcher knife; his mother was found across the street. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she received treatment for four knife wounds to the chest and neck. He's currently being held on $1.5 million and will probably spend some more time in the crazy house.
